Beta launching in Panama

Finally know what's
actually in your food.

Etiqa scores any grocery product — A through F, 0 to 100 — based on real nutrition data. Search a product, understand why it scored that way, and find something better if you need to.

Three steps to a
clearer grocery run.

01
Search any product
Type a product name, brand, or category. Search in English or Spanish — Etiqa understands both. Our database covers 50,000+ products including local Panamanian brands.
02
Understand the score
Every score comes with a plain-language explanation — what helped, what hurt, and which specific nutrients to pay attention to. No black boxes.
03
Find something better
When a product scores poorly, Etiqa surfaces pre-ranked alternatives in the same category. Same convenience, better choice.
04
Track your progress
Over time, Etiqa shows how your choices are trending. Your personal health score — not just individual products — improves week by week.

Food companies know more about your groceries than you do.
We're changing that.

Nutrition labels exist but they're designed to confuse. Ingredient lists are buried in fine print. Etiqa translates all of it into a single, honest score — built on adapted Nutri-Score v2 methodology, not brand relationships.

We don't accept advertising. We don't take money from food brands. Our only job is to help you make a better choice.

The first food health app built for here.

Most food scoring apps focus on the US and Europe — search for Leche Nevada or a product from Super 99 and you'll find nothing. Etiqa was built Panama-first, with local brand coverage, Spanish-first search, and data sourced from the stores you actually shop at.

🏪
Local brand coverage
Nevada, local dairies, Panamanian snacks — products found at El Rey, Riba Smith, and Súper 99 are in the database from day one.
🌐
Fully bilingual
Search in Spanish or English. Every score, explanation, and alternative is available in both languages with full parity.
📈
LATAM expansion next
Panama is the starting point. Costa Rica, Colombia, and the broader LATAM market follow as our data pipeline grows.

Built to last.

Etiqa is an early-stage consumer health company with a defensible data moat and a clear path to LATAM-wide distribution. Here's the case.

The market opportunity
No localized food health app exists for Panama or the broader LATAM consumer market. Existing global alternatives have essentially no coverage of local brands. Etiqa's Panama-first data pipeline is a barrier competitors cannot easily replicate.

Independent & transparent
Etiqa is independently funded and takes no money from food brands. Scores are computed algorithmically from public nutrition data. Our scoring methodology is published and open to scrutiny.

Good questions.

Is Etiqa medical advice? +
No. Etiqa is an informational product-evaluation tool. Scores reflect nutritional data and established methodology — they are not diagnoses, medical recommendations, or a substitute for professional dietary guidance.
How are scores calculated? +
Etiqa uses an adapted version of Nutri-Score v2 — a research-backed European food scoring system. Scores weigh negative factors (sugar, saturated fat, sodium, trans fat) against positive ones (fiber, protein, micronutrients) per 100g of product. No brand pays to influence their score.
What if a product I search for is missing? +
Our Panama database is actively growing. If a product is missing, it goes on our priority list for the next data update. You can also flag missing products directly in the app.
Does Etiqa take money from food brands? +
Never. Etiqa is funded by users (Etiqa Plus subscriptions) and aligned investors — not food companies. We have no commercial relationship with any brand in our database and no brand can pay to improve their score.
Is it available in Spanish? +
Yes — fully. Every screen, score explanation, ingredient flag, and alternative is available in both English and Spanish. The app detects your device language and defaults accordingly.
What is Etiqa Plus? +
Etiqa Plus is our premium tier. It unlocks dietary filters (gluten-free, no added sugar, high protein), your full health trend dashboard, unlimited bookmarks, and offline mode. The core search and scoring experience is always free.
